The New Jersey Rangers FC has been created to give players with the desire and dedication to excel, advanced training and experiences
that will prepare them for the college level and beyond. One of our goals is to construct an environment conducive to the growth of
each player as an athlete and person.
In an effort to provide this opportunity to our players we would like to embark on a community service option for players and families.
I would like to get a feel for the level of interest that a program like this would generate. The possibilities are endless in our
immediate and surrounding communities. JERSEY CARES is a wonderful agency located out of Morris county which organizes service
opportunities for individuals and groups.ALL of the activities which JERSEY CARES offers are one time commitments. I would like to
work with this organization if the level of interest exists within our club.
Individual teams can participate in a one-day activity as a team bonding exercise or if the level of interest is high enough across
all teams we can work with JERSEY CARES to have a club wide NJRFC service activity.
The first steps, are to discover the level of interest and identify those individuals and or teams. Managers and coaches, if you
could take this to your players and families and uncover the level of interest and collect the names of those individuals and forward
onto me. Further, if an entire team would desire to participate, please let me know. Also if managers or and coaches would like to
assist in the coordination of this NJRFC program please contact me. If you would be able to provide me feedback by Monday 07-Apr-03,
that would be wonderful.
